The contentious and often misunderstood medium social media has never been more in the headlines and businesses can be forgiven for questioning whether the risks of embarking upon a social media strategy outweigh the potential benefits – particularly within the B2B sector.
Small fortunes can be spent analysing the pros and cons, but Gloucestershire businesses can take advantage of a social media workshop hosted by Cheltenham agency Factor 3 on Tuesday 20th September 2011, 4pm, Cheltenham. The workshop has a specific B2B bias and is the third in a series of digital workshops designed to dispel myths, define context and answer the question – should you be doing it?
Led by Steve Lauder, Head of Digital at Factor 3, the 90 minute workshop will include an introduction and overview, advice on how to set your own strategy, practical demonstrations featuring Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter and case studies showing how well it can work, and what happens when things go bad.
Steve said “Digital marketing is the fastest growing sector within Factor 3 - it simply can’t be ignored. These free-to-attend workshops are designed to help our fellow Gloucestershire businesses keep up to date with the opportunities out there.
“This is our third workshop and feedback from previous attendees, together with current affairs, guided the content this time around.”
Steve will be supported by Digital Development Manager Alice Brown.
