Nobo is ubiquitous in workplaces the world over and yet, like many foundation brands, they are under constant attack from own label and cheaper imported goods in the ‘visual communications’ sector of flip-charts, whiteboards and accessories.
Following a successful pitch addressing this key issue, we worked closely with Nobo in repositioning the brand and creating a new brand language to put clear water between the company and the ‘also rans’.
Extensive research helped to hone the approach and enhance the brand’s appeal to identified customer segments who valued the brand quality and expertise captured in the proposition, ‘Communicate with confidence.’ The design is now being integrated into a rolling programme of packaging updates and is influencing all aspects of the company’s marketing.
