Office Depot - Trial Branch Launch. Media and creative reccomendations

It would seem like an obvious association: PC World, Britain’s largest specialist chain of computer superstores, and global brand Office Depot with its vast experience in supplying office products, office furniture and stationery nationwide.

Initial discussions between the two companies led to a programme of trial ‘store within a store’ openings starting with Croydon and Bristol branches of PC World.

Our task was to create both the awareness of the joint venture and increase the footfall. There was clearly a natural link between the two brands’ product offerings but our creative proposals had to accommodate both sets of brand identities and brand appeals into one unified whole.

The deceptively simple solution created a virtue out of the differences and maintained the integrity of each brand across all comms, including 48 sheet posters and local press advertising.
