Outside of Wimbledon fortnight, The Festival in March is the UK’s largest attended sports event, attracting over 230,000 spectators. Those visitors get through 20,000 bottles of champagne, 200,000 pints of Guinness and 240,000 bottles of beer as they cheer horses who will leave behind 4 million hoof prints.
