I am the Technical Delivery Manager with the Digital department at Factor 3. I lead the team that comprises of developers, testers and project managers.
I work with key client stakeholders to define and document requirements in enough detail that it provides clarity for both the client and developers to understand what will be built and where the boundaries are. Once requirements are defined, I work with the team to ensure that the project is delivered on time and to budget.
I'm a bit of a nerd. That means I have enough technical knowhow to understand and advise on the complexities of technical projects which helps a lot when planning and also adapting to changing needs during a project lifecycle. I’m also a detail girl. I aim to consider any possible risk to ensure the best outcome for each project.
I love being outdoors, and I enjoy sport - Hockey, powerlifting, walking up mountains and skiing.
I played hockey at a high level for nearly 30 years, and now umpire every weekend throughout the season. I have recently started taking part in Strong woman and Powerlifting competitions after being invited to be part of an all-girl team to pull an 8-tonne truck 1 mile in 2015. I am currently the South West powerlifting record holder for my age and weight category.
When I'm not doing sporty things, I am usually having adventures with my son, or drinking wine with friends!
As we all know, there's no I in team. Meet the rest of Factor 3
