Innovative ‘Property Stories’ campaign picks up Best Marketing award
When it comes to selling a property, there are two vital ingredients – great marketing and great people. So Andrews Estate Agents was delighted to win awards for both their marketing and people at a prestigious industry ceremony this past week.
The Estate Agency of the Year Awards, sponsored by The Times, was held at London’s Lancaster Hotel on Friday 3rd December and was attended by over 500 property professionals. The longest running and most sought after awards event in the industry, the awards recognise the very best in estate agency, and were hosted by six-time world champion and double Olympic Gold medallist, James Cracknell OBE.
Andrews Estate Agents was awarded the Silver Award for Best Marketing, sponsored by GoView, for the innovative ‘Property Stories’ campaign launched earlier this year, which was based on the universal truth that our homes are full of our happiest memories, and every home has a story to tell. Andrews has invested heavily in 2010 in their property marketing materials and professional details, and this award recognises the increased service that the company is offering to its customers.
“Andrews has been selling properties for over 60 years, and we understand that in order to sell a home quickly and effectively, you need to appreciate its uniqueness” said Jeremy Francis, Head of Marketing at Andrews. “The campaign showed the importance that a property has to the owners, and how those features may appeal to potential buyers. This approach really resonated with our customers, and we are pleased to have been recognised with this award”.
Andrews also picked up the Bronze Award for Best Training & Development, in recognition of the high class training and practical qualifications offered to employees and, to complete the hat-trick, a third special award was given to Paul Jenkins, Branch Manager of Andrews Estate Agents in Downend, Bristol, for raising more money than any other estate agent in a single day for a recent charity coffee morning for the Estate Agency Foundation, a charity set up to help eliminate homelessness.
Michael Robson, Group Chief Executive at Andrews, said: “These award wins are indicative of and a testament to the continued hard work and determination of staff at Andrews to be the best and to push forward standards in the industry, despite difficult financial conditions currently. We will continue to invest in our marketing and training to ensure that we deliver the best property experience to our customers in 2011 and beyond”.
