The questions that keep you up at night…

Since the dawn of time man has lusted after the meaning of life and the answer to all the worlds’ eternal questions, why are we here? What is our purpose? etc… Whereas in years past knowledge of this kind was the reserve of the upper classes, the people that were literate and able to afford books and education, the age of the Internet has created a tremendous level playing field. Information and answers are now available to all. YES the Internet provides more than a ready supply of quality naked pictures, it also attempts to answer every question ever conceived, at the touch of a finger.

Questions that keep you up at night.

I would like to suggest that possibly on the flip side to this wonderful, classless, relatively new access of information we may have hindered our ability to question, to wonder and to imagine a great explanation of our own. Some questions are better unanswered, so I have decided to share a few of the questions that keep me up at night, and some possible answers…

Does a French dog bark in a different language to an English dog?

The dog that barked at me in Paris did seem to be insulting my attire…

How does an Ostrich mate?

??? I just can’t picture it…

Why doesn’t broccoli come in a can?

Their big hairdos don’t travel well in a tight space…

Is Ben Affleck going to make a good Batman?

He is good and BAD in equal doses, so we’ll give him the benefit of the doubt, but maybe he needs to grow the beard to cover the bum chin…

Are ghosts real?

If you had the power of invisibility would you use it for good or bad?

I’d like to think id use it for noble reasons, but temptation is a terrible thing…

These are just a few of the important questions that provide me with a little joy, I have no intention of finding the truth, as that may mean the loss of my childlike wonder. To question, to debate, to play devils advocate, to reason and think are all tools that helped define the human race. So next time you are puzzled by a query put down your phone or laptop. Even if your explanation isn’t right, it might be more interesting and who wants to be right all the time?
