Despite being in the enviable position of not having to market to recruit new pupils, communication is still key. We worked with Oundle to create a style that their internal team could pick up and run with.
As a member of the UK’s ‘Ivy League’ of independent schools, Oundle is in the privileged position of not needing to market to recruit pupils.
But the school does need to communicate extensively, to inform and to sustain their unique brand personality, personified in the headmaster’s phrase ‘much is expected, much is achieved’
Our brief was how to do that.
First up we rationalised logos, typefaces and a colour palette. Then across a very diverse range of collateral we utilised live jobs as the foundation for simple design templates which would enable the internal marketing team to pick up the next issues, as terms and school years tick by.
